A small card that says: someone checked.
Charity On Top: Verified is a trust mark for organizations that ask for your money, your data, or your goodwill. It appears only after an independent review is complete — never before, and there is never a fee.
Why the list is blank
The three lines above the heart are not missing text. They are the checklist itself, redacted on purpose. Every organization that carries the mark has passed the same three checks, but the evidence behind each line — audit reports, registration records, account statements — belongs to the organization, not the badge. The mark shows that the boxes were ticked. The lines stand for what was checked.
Verified
The organization is who it says it is. Legal registration, named leadership, and an operating track record are confirmed against public records.
Secure
Funds and data are held safely. Accounts are protected, donations are traceable end to end, and personal information is encrypted in storage and in transit.
Trusted
The money goes where it is promised. Program spending is reported openly and reviewed against the organization's own published claims.
Checks are conducted through an independent review process and renewed annually. A lapsed check retires the mark.
Anatomy of the mark
Every part of the mark is doing a job. Nothing is decoration.
The card
A record card, not a logo. It reads as a document: something filed, reviewed, and kept.
The heart and check
The heart carries the check because verification protects the giving. The white tick is the one element that never changes color.
The checklist
Three redacted lines, one per check: verified, secure, trusted. Always three, always in this order.
The shadow
An offset back layer gives the card weight — a reminder that there is a paper trail behind it.
Displaying the mark
The mark is earned, not licensed. These rules keep it meaning the same thing everywhere it appears.
- Show the mark only while your verification is current. It retires the day a check lapses.
- Use the mark in its rose tint only. The heart stays red and the check stays white.
- Never redraw, rotate, or fill in the checklist lines. The blank lines are the point.
- Link the mark to your verification record wherever the medium allows.
